Caller from this number to my mobile claimed to be from Nature Conservation Council of NSW seeking donations. She was very persistent, spoke in a regional British accent and promised to call back before 30 June in case I had rethought my refusal to donate.

Phones after 7.30pm. Leaves no message

A guy called with a British Accent and said he was from the Nature Conservation of NSW too. As soon as i questioned his authenticity, the phone line cut out. Don't be scammed.

What annoys me is the gov do nothing to stop these spam calls and stop charities from cold calling. They even target minors mobile numbers, which is wrong. They have no regard for the do not call register either. If people want to donate to charity they will willingly do so, of their own accord and do not need to be cohersed/harrassed at home until they donate.

Called 8pm on a Friday night. Lady with a British accent claimed to be from Guide Dogs. Guide dogs always call me from a Brisbane number during normal business hours

Very persistent. This number rang my mobile last Thursday night, Friday night and tonight (Monday) despite my being on the Do Not Call Register. I didn't answer. They didn't leave a message.

They hung up when I answered - not sure if they meant to do it. It was at 6:00pm in Sydney. They won’t answer my calls back and it disconnects right away

Frequently calls every couple of days between hours of 4 pm and 6.30 pm.

Caller: Joe, reportedly calling from the Nature Conservation Council of NSW

I received two missed called from this number always at around 5:30 pm. When I picked up on the third call I was told it was 'Joe', with a British accent, from the Nature Conservation Council of NSW seeking a donation. Not suspicious, until I saw that callers from this same number have purported to be from other charities.

Called after 7:30pm and left no message.
Caller ID showed it was from Sydney.

Caller: "Jason" from "Berry St" charity

At 7pm Jason rang my mobile which is not known to charities.
Suspicious, I terminated the call.
Checked the address for Berry St charity and it is not in Sydney.
Friends helped investigate suspect scammer and used their phones to call back the number (02) 8188 4292 and it was constantly engaged

This number (02) 8188 4292 rang my mobile twice at 5:30pm on a weekday night. Is it a NSW number or a international number mimicking a Australian phone number?
