The government should ensure every mobile number and land line number and every other kind of number is registered to someone and their address should be given. All organisation groups should be given a standard type of number. EG, registered charities 99 2222 2222 and 99 4444 4444. EG, telemarketers 33 55 55 and 33 88 88. Etcetera. These organisations and companies should never be allowed to have silent numbers. That way people will know who is calling them.

It's very suspicious when people phone you and hang up when you answer. The number (02) 8104 1094 is not listed to any person or organisation. We don't understand how the government can allow any phone number to exist without registering who it belongs to.
