17 missed calls this month. all during work hours. Does not leave message, just constantly rings

Have had a missed call from (02) 8094 6215 everyday during work hours for over a week. WHen will it stop. I don't want to answer telemarketer phone calls and can't during work hours anyway. Frustrating.

i rang back after several missed calls from (08) 8094 6237 during work hours and no messages left. It is MLC trying to sell me life insurance

I've had 12 missed calls from this number this week! No-one ever answers, they just hang up.

Rings every day atleast once. Even had one on a Sunday. Does anyone know how to make it stop?

Update on crank calls - the company ringing is called Aegon direct marketing 1300 305 515) - apparently they ring on behalf of banks to offer products to their existing clients, this case it was Comminsure who was trying to contact someone who used to have my work number. The Aegon rep I spoke with said that they may have hung up because of the way I answered the phone because apparently they are not allowed to ring work numbers. When I queried if this is the case than why have they rung the same number and hung up on several occasions, also why then when I rung the phone number on caller id did I get a message to ring another number. I also mentioned that other people have complained about the same issue on this website (reverseaaustralia) and they were rung on mobiles and landlines. The rep couldn't give me an answer to this but she said she will request for my number to be removed - it takes 24 hours to take effect.

I have received a phone call from this number for the past two days to my work number, which is a private number and I do not give it out regularly. When I rang it back it said it was a call from Aon Insurance and said if I wanted more information to ring 1300 350 515 - this number does not exist. I tracked down the number for Aon Insurance and they advised it is not their policy to use these kinds of marketing techniques. I am waiting for a call back to find out how they got my number and to ask them to remove my number from their list.

Been getting calls too and I'm wondering where the f did they get my number.,and they so persistent! Probably some auto program that rings up random people.If you pick up you are then redirected by some recorded message to some 1300 number.So you end up calling them!

I've had numerous calls from this number too, gets rather anoying! Seems like CanSpam didn't apply to phone numbers?!?!

My home phone is a private, non listed number, and yet I get at least two spam calls a day or more nearly on average. The only way anyone could get my number was either through hacking Telstra's systems (Which wouldn't be surprising although not exactly confidence inspiring!)or Telstra's illegally (or maybe legally by some weird clause in an abstract service agreement) selling peoples private numbers on to third parties.

I've had so many missed calls from this number. I finally answered t(three times today!) and the bastards hang up. I tried calling and it tries to redirect me to 1300 number. Bastards...

Calling over and over, i answer they hang up.
