Caller: ATO?

Prerecorded message saying that you and family being investigated for tax fraud by ATO.
ATO been unable to contact you and taking law suit filed against you.
Please call (02) 8091 5936

Left a voicemail saying I'm going to be arrested if I don't call back. Definitely sounds like scam material.

Automatic message saying a law suit was filed against me, if I dont call number police will come and arrest me.

I got those exact two voicemail messages as previously mentioned but both different numbers

Missed call with a voicemail from a recorded "robotic" voice saying the same as above i.e. if you don't call back, will issue an arrest warrant blah, blah, blah.

Scam for sure. Do not call back

Same as above; received call saying the same as the individuals above have been saying - i also called back repeatedly and tried to research the number. No information available and no answer no matter how frequently I call back. Sometimes just an instant disconnection. I also believe this to be a scam. Ignore this and don’t let it worry you, especially if you know you have no reason for a call like this (such as myself). Hope the origin of this activity is found and resolved.

I received this same voice message too today, made me laugh! Obviously, it is a scam!

Same call from (02) 8091 5936, prerecorded msg, should be fake. I just change my phone number and have no update to ATO, how they contact me ,

Left a voicemail saying a warrant would be issued for my arrest if I didn't pay.

Several calls in the past week, "robo" voice in various accents. First ones were American the latest one was an Australian accent ... threatening language but incorrect grammar. Saying that I am under investigation by local tax authorities and "a lawsuit has been filed in my name" or whatever that means. Because "they have never heard back from me", I should call this number or I will be arrested. Bizarre.

Called the number and when I started asking questions I was disconnected. Thereafter could not get through again.

Left recorded message saying "case filed in your name...if you don't call back will issue arrest warrant." Rubbish.

claim from ATO but I think it is a scam from indian back ground sound like it

Voicemail saying “we have a lawsuits against you” and that by listening to the voicemail I’m consenting to being pursued for an ATO debt. Incorrect grammar in a Stephen Hawking-esqe robot voice.

Same as the message above, I tried to call the number and it is disconnected.

Caller: Prerecorded message

Prerecorded message saying that you and/or family are being investigated for tax fraud by ATO..
At that point I hung up and reported it to the ATO as a scam.
