THIS IS A SCAM!!!!! They called me saying they were from the federal government giving a cashback refund for overcharges made to my account over the past year. To the value of $5248. They then asked me to verify my date of birth and asked if I would like it sent via direct debit or by cheque. They will ask which branch you bank with. I asked them for their name and identification number. They said their name is Rebecca Brown. I then asked what their real name was as they spoke with a very heavy accent. They then hung up.
