Got call from ... pause ... hung up. To the answer about why they want details. Once they have some info about you, they can open up accounts, call a call centre with dob and address and change email then get more info eventually changing accounts and the steel your id...

This number has been calling me several times a day. Say that they are Optus and asking am I going over my data usage, I said if you're Optus dont you know that? They are a scam and should be reported!

I got done by them today
I even believed them as I a with Vodafone
I gave them my access pin as it actually seemed legit (the lady did well to scam me)
I immediately called my Vodafone and changed my details.
What can they actually scam from this though ??

I got the same call. I think it is a scam caller as the person was not well trained and asked questions that Vodafone should know.

Yeah its a scam. From vodafone but they don't know your account details like when it expires. Theyre fishing for details.
