This number has been calling me every single day, i answered it once and ive never answered it after that and its getting very annoying and wish it would stop, they offered me funeral insurance i don't want to buy funeral insurance through a company that calls me everyday...

Lets see if we can find where there location is ill go down with a few boys burn the place down.

Stop calling my mobile 0412 226 464!!!!!!!! I have asked so many times not to call me but it falls on deaf ears!!!!!!!!!!! This is harassment

over this funeral company they also have no sense of humour, told them i don't need it told my children not to claim the body or donate me to science.They told me how selfish i was and keep ringing.

I regularly receive 3 calls a day! I have already spoken to these people three times and so no and please remove my number. Will now put it into the govt register. Would love to know how they got my number as all the suggestions people made about how they may have I don't use. I suspect it was online competition.

called again by OTPL. Asked them to delete my number and never call again. Advised i will be lodging a complaint with the telecommunications ombudsman.
You have to keep a sense of humour about this or you'd go mad.
I've taken to telling them i don't need a funeral plan because i am going to live forever.

Just put it in your phone as a contact "telemarketer" then when they call you have the satisfaction of hitting "ignore".

now sending data messages as well as nuisance calls. Am on 'do not call' but they ignore it and complaining does not fix it..

This company uses several 02 numbers to make these calls. I keep blocking them. They keep finding new numbers to call from

I reckon they just have an autodial system - it just calls random numbers with the hope that even if they get 1 out of 100 then it's better than nothing. My reasons for this - they keep leaving messages on the mobile number connected to my aircard! It's never been listed, nor been used for an actual mobile phone - it's for data only.

Just block their number or put a contact in your phones to which you add all the crappy junk numbers - at least then you know who's called and not to answer, etc.

I have been getting calls from them over several weeks like everyone else here - the other day I rang their # back and an Indian woman answered and I decided to act inquisitive but nice and as a result I managed to get the following information from her - OTPL stands for Optimum (I think) Technology Pty Ltd and they are based in New Delhi in India and they call from there to Australia.

I asked if they have a presence here in Australia because I am trying to work out how they got my details and she said they get their listings from Australian data services so I typed that web address in and yes they do exist and what they do is (quote) "we provide top quality wholesale prospect lists to businesses which are involved in direct marketing...." So that is something we can all work on to find out why our details have been gathered (allegedly) by this company and onsold to OTPL in India.

I then told the Indian woman in no uncertain terms that I am a single man without dependents and I already have a prepaid funeral and hence I do not need any funeral insurance and would she please remove my mobile # etc from their list - I then told her that in early December I had my mobile and landline numbers added to the Australian Government's Do Not Call register and that I was told there are big penalties for companies that break the law by making unsolicited calls to people who are on that register and that I would have no hesitation in doing whatever it takes to have them dealt with by the appropriate authorities if they continue to call me (apparently you need to wait a month from when you go on the DNC register as companies are only required to check their lists against the register once a month. The Indian woman then apologised to me and said she will remove my number from their records - whether they will is something that remains to be seen.

One other thing, I rang Telstra's complaints section about the (02) 8069 7934 number and they said it is not one of their numbers so they cannot take any action against it - they did say it would have to be an Australian number due to area code 02 but it must be issued by another Telco - the DNC register people and ACMA (Australian Communications and Media Authority people would have the legal authority to investigate that number and any others OTPL uses and take appropriate action I feel sure.

So everyone complaining in here please take your complaints up with ACMA and the DNC register people and don't forget there's also the Telecommunications Ombudsman that we can call too.

I am trying to work out how these people obtained our numbers and one thing I thought of is if any of you do online surveys (for rewards such as cash or Coles and Woolworths gift cards etc) because I do and am wondering if one of these companies has on sold my contact details to Australian Data Services (if that is what has happened)because I cannot think how else ADS would have obtained my number. I'll be interested to hear what others in here say.

Have been called multiple times and they leave messages on a phone that is used to have contact with daughters father .... No one has my number and these people dont stop ringing and leave rude abusive msgs

unless you stop calling emergency service personel you may be charged under the telecommunications act.

Recieved 3 Calls this week... really getting sick of the pricks

Just got a call from this number (02) 8069 7934 and the guy was quite rude, refused to tell me what the company was and he wanted to tell me about an offer. I then told him if this is about me buying anything then I am not interested. He started yelling saying he did not mention any money and proceeded to argue with me. I finally told him that an offer means somewhere along the line I would have to pay out money to which he got quite sh*tty and and then hung up.

Called 3 times, politely refused first time, he said hed take me off "the list" 2nd time hanged up i rang them and told them to lose my number. Rang today, hanged up when i asnwered. Rang them and went off. Never recieved telemarketing/ marketing phone calls untill i moved in aug. And redirected my mail.... Cost me $10... I have had my number since 2000. Or maybe electral roll.. Dodgy as!!!

Tell me what to do please. I put the numbers in my reject list and they call on other numbers including mobile numbers. here is one they are using,0403 001 208.
