I called back number (02) 8064 5028 reached voice mail but did not say for what company.

None of you guys will like this.
1. They call your phone
2. You answer 'Hello'
3. They immediately hang up, AND put your number as an ACTIVE person who WILL answer!
4. They then send (sell) your number to 100's of other telemarketers, ALL with their unique numbers.
5. You then receive 100's of other telemarketer phone calls. Except these people won't hang up, until you say NO or F Off.
6. The number is from Optus, and Optus has an intense procedure asking you mutltiple questions (dates; times; what happened; why do you feel its a telemarketer etc etc etc etc etc etc etc. And then they 'investigate the number!!! Um, no wonder these telemarketers are using Optus because NO one is going to do that!

Note: Blocking THIS specific (answered call) is already too late.

All started after buying new Nokia phone from JB HI FI and Google had to be registered so who passed my details. Pestered for Life, Pet & Funeral, Insurance, Hearing aids, Foxtel, Woolworths Rewards card, House Finance, all added to phone auto block and Do not call register.

Constant calls - they hang up after a couple of rings - suspect cold call sales

received call on my mobile and a to my surprise women asked if I needed life or funeral insurance told her Politely no [ ha ha ]

Very well spoken and polite woman, she knew my first name!! asking for "donation" to Carefligh with a chance of winning $1000 every month, sure yeah!!
Politely told her I can't afford donations.

I have put them and their many other numbers starting with the same (02) 8064 5028 six digits, but ending in the last four digits being different into my scam folder on my phone. I put them into my contact list and right Scam no 1,2 3 or however many I am up too. This is really bad of them to bother people this way. Some poor sick people would get very irritated by this.
They need to be reported to someone. Obviously they have absolutely nothing to do. Very Annoying
