I made a once-off donation and they keep calling back (and sending mail to my house). BUT if you call the number back after you let it ring out, it says something along the lines of "if you do not wish to be contacted anymore, please enter the number you were called on" so that's helpful at least. My personal opinion is that I'd rather my money go into actual works they do and not paying people to call me repeatedly or waste money on consumable things like letters (paper, posting, handling etc.).

Getting fed up with the calls from this number several times a day. We don't answer and they never leave a message. Very disappointed if it is the Fred Hollows Foundation as I strongly believe in what they do.

No message left but I suspect it’s a telemarketing company thanks to the other comments from this website after googling the number.

FHFoundation. Wish I knew this before one-off donation in June. Already received mail requesting more donation, two phone calls on mobile (now blocked) and two emails (now in Spam). Use my generous donation for Freds great works NOT telemarketers, letters and postage. What a waste !!!

Have made a number of one off donations. Now get regular letters, numerous almost daily phone calls plus emails asking for further donations. I had previously decided to make monthly donations for a year but have changed my mind. My donations were made to restore sight, but I won't be donating again. Not paying telemarket wages and stationery for begging letters.

I gave a large donation to this charity and now they keep calling me. Why ? To get more money from me . No way upsetting to know that the donation I gave does not restore sight but pays someone a wage to harass me.

I too have been contacted numerous times after donating without leaving a message - please use your money for its true purpose.

They keep calling, even though I only ever donated once or twice a long time ago, this is just nonsense

I have donated in the past but I have had daily calls since 17 April - never again will I give them a donation - this is harassment.

They call my mobile continuously. I would rather my donated money is spent on something more valuable!

Called and didn't leave message - thanks to this website have discovered it's Fred Hollows Foundation. Have donated once and am now on their phone list.

I bought Xmas gifts of donations to the Foundation. Now of course they think they can screw money out of me all the time. Like all charities in this country. None of them should be able to use your details when you make a one-of transaction. AND. They should ALL have a box on their web sites where you can say "never contact me".
