my phone rang this number all by itself I am with AAPT

This number is from Sykes Financial services, a 3rd party sourced by Westpac. If you want to stop receiving the calls you need to contact Westpac (I chose the customer relations 1300 number to raise a complaint) and advise them that you never agreed to your details being provided to a 3rd party.

They then remove the marketing flag from your account which should cease the calls. I've only done this today and am taking the word of the Westpac rep on that last part.

The do not call register does not stop all marketing calls. The legit companies who do it by the book will honour the list; its the others who don't that need to be caught. To raise a donotcall complaint you need to get the details of the calling party else nothing can be done!

They jsut called me at 07:45am!!! on a Saturday. I didn't answer the phone, but they left no message. So annoying. I read a comment before about Westpac...I'm with Westpac also...concerned that my silent number has got in to the wrong hands.

called at 18.56 Didn't answer. They left no message so thought it was a prank or telemarketer.Did not call back.thinking scammer or ??

How come the Government Don't Call Register fails to screen these kind of calls. I am fed up with receiving calls from this number.

How do I stop them from calling, I do nightshift work & keep getting woken up by their phone calls 2 or 3 times a day

This number called me a few times a few month ago and tried to sell me something. It has called me again this week - 4 days in a roll. I am in Melbourne and it calls around 1pm to 2pm everyday.

this number is calling me at least twice a day (except sundays) for the past 2 weeks. Never leaves message and if i try to call it back its recorded message but am unable to find the people they claim to be!

Still at it - 11/08/11 13.00 rang once only.

Bloddy A-holes called me at work.
Other day telemarketer called. I abused them by saying that he needs to get a real job. Also that he probably freezes his own s#%t and uses this as a d!ldo on his mum. He rang back about 8 times in as many hours.

been getting calls at odd hours of the day on my home number which is private. I never answer my phone so i let it go to my answering machine...sure enough they never leave a message but it is so annoying to hear the phone ring all the f'ing time when i am trying to sleep and/or put my baby to sleep. After coming online to find this site I will answer my phone & tell them to f off

Yeah Bloody Persistent Bugga's I haven't answered once but they keep trying never leave a message though.

I have been receiving these calls for the last week or so. They usually only ring for a couple of secs and then stop. I answered 1 earlier and there was nobody on the other end so I hung up.

I am receiving calls from this number daily. no message left and no one answer the call. I think they are spammers.very annoying.

To "mysterious guy" I just called the number you gave out and I got a pommy girl saying my bank was trying to get a hold of me . My bank rings me from my local branch but I thought Id ring it anyway. It rang through to telephone banking.Very sus.

If they keep calling you (like they did me) send an email to sykesAUSfinancialservices @ sykes.com with your phone number and ask them to take you off the list

Rings intermittently, sometimes twice a day. Stopped calling for a couple of weeks and then it started up again. I get so many missed calls from this number! Really really annoying.

I have also been receiving calls from this number twice a day for the past 2 weeks. I have answered only to have them hang up. I sent them an email to say bugger off!
