called and said they were from optus and asked for my DOB so they could send me a discount code for 30% off because of covid.. If optus were offering discounts to their customers theyd just send the discount. When i wouldnt give them my details they asked if i was still a customer of optus to which i replied if you are calling from optus, wouldnt you know if i was a customer or not? - and then hung up. Scam.

Watch for this number on your phone account. They spoof access your wi fi details. They hack into your phone make calls on your behalf and you're charged 82 cents for every call they make. I've tried calling Telstra of course they are clueless and don't know how to prevent it call length of 1 second

called today and they said something in jibberish, couldn't understand. Don't pick up waste of your time.

This number Just rang me and said they were customer service at Optus wanting to talk about my account and service details, I said I don’t have an account and I’m not an Optus customer, they hung up

Caller: Someone claiming to be from “Optus”

Do not give any personal details to these scam artists. Hang up and block the number immediately.
In return for their disrespect I have switched my caller ID off and prank called the number multiple times… they’re annoyed but have no way to block an unknown caller. Suckers.

Scammer! They will send you a code in a meassage while on the phone with you then ask you to provide your optus 4 digits pin.

Rings and then stops - many times a day

Caller hung up when I picked up. Can't see any point in these calls unless they get paid per call. If so the company they work for is being conned.

Called the number and got some Yankee woman who thanked me for calling and then requested phone, address and other details if I wished to opt out of getting their nuisance calls. Pests.
