Tax scam - claim to be from the ATO and serving legal papers for fraud found in an audit of prior tax returns.

There was a missed call from this number a couple of days ago, I tried to call them back a couple of times and line was always busy.
Now I now it is a scam. They really scare some people, It is not fair that they get away with it.

Had a message in week ending Sat 27 Feb 2016. Said it was "Kevin from the ATO" using (02) 8015 2413 but also seemed to say he was from the CDPP. Wants my lawyer number or me to call back asap.
I emailed CDPP (inquiries @ cdpp.gov.au - you WILL find that one on the internet in its proper spot) and they confirmed within the day that its a hoax.
Phone scamwatch at ATO (look up their toll free number) - ATO say they send a letter so check your mail box or MyGov, they don't leave messages like that [imagine the litigation nightmare they'd face for leaving confidential info on a home answering machine.. I would be calling my lawyer !]

My Sister has had two calls in a matter of 5 days. Tax scam and authorities really need to do something about this.
