This is indeed a cam I spoke with a Telstra person who advised me they do not give out any information to their customers at any rate if they are being hacked . She also called this number 02 : 8015 2035 and advised yes it seems fraudulent. Do not ever give any information to any person over the phone in regards to your internet or computer settings as these people are trying to access your personel information , accounts etc.
" People Do Not Be Conned by this kind of Call " tell people nothing unless you are 100% sure of who they are !

Just had a call as well from a Marshall. He sounded confident but got angry with me when I questioned him. Not a nice person

Just got a call from this number as well. He didn't sound very confident and the quality of the connection was very poor, could hear other voices in the background speaking to other people giving the same spiel. When I told him the number he gave me was not one I was familiar with he became very stand-offish especially as I wanted him to describe to me when the problem with our computer began, something he should have been able to tell me straight away. Instead he wanted to end the call and call back when the line was clearer, haven't heard back from him. I think he may have been put off by my comment he could just tell me what was wrong and didn't need to connect to my computer because, heavens forbid, I actually know a thing or two about computers...

similar call was informed that my internet service was going to be shut off (n specific time or date) because my computer was sending a virus into Telstra's mainframe & disrupting internet services.... F34R M3 !!!! I am $atans uber haxor

Caller ID'd himself as John , the audio quality on the telephone line seemed to be made purposely bad at there end , rather than a genuine bad quality line. He kept insisting that my PC was actively causing "mainframe problems" , he also wanted to know my PC's CLISD number , that way he might be able to stop the problem. He asked for my name , something that I would neither confirm or deny to him until I had proof of his Telco Skurity status. Using his best "pakilama" (great word Glen) he gave me the (02) 8015 2035 telephone number to call up to confirm his telco skurity level. I told him to go to hell until I had proof & hung up on him. He was quite confident in his manner , unfortunately he told me that I was living in Victoria rather than the Actual State or Territory I do live in. I called the number , it rang twice then I heard 2 diversion pips to another line it rang out & all I got was a recorded message from some dragon lady saying that the number I had dialed was "not able to answer" or similar. This division of Interscam's Telephone Fraud Division is slowly refining their techniques , lack of knowledge & poor english is their downfall , best to be feeding them with as much bad data as possible. I should have confirmed my name a Ben Hall & asked him to call me back him the AFP's Victorian Computer Crimes phone number , something that I don't have at hand but will keep near my landline from now on.

Had some indi/pakilama call the folks today claiming their net would be disconnected. The folks could not understand a word they said so arranged that I would ring them back. On 1st call back I got an automated message that was non Telstra which was suss. On 2nd callback which was a 3way with the folks the twit that answered was unprofessional and thought it was a private call. There was a loud party or something going in the background so between not being able to understand them or hear most of what was said they mistook me when I asked for their name and gave their real name rather than the advertised "Leo Watson".

TLDR INDI/PAK SCAMMING POS
