Supposedly the ATO were coming to arrest me. To make payment I could ring this number back. Definetly a scam

Scam message similar to what everyone else reported. Did not call back but obviously banks on people calling back that may not be too tech savvy and know how to research these numbers. It left video recording as well that ATO have issued warrant for my arrest lol. Many naive people could fall for it.

Just as the others said. Saying they are ATO and the Federal Police have a warrant for my arrest. It’s pretty detailed but it’s definitely a scam. ATO never make these kinds of calls. Just hope people don’t fall for it!

Left recorded message on voicemail.
Claims to be ATO, that there is a legal case/complaint against me, warrant for arrest to be issued. We will receive a legal notification in mail soon. Asked us to call back (02) 8007 5727 . checked with ATO it is a scam and all my tax are up to date with ATO.

Supposed phone call from ATO telling me there is a warrant for my arrest - I owe ATO nothing and have confirmed them with this. When I quoted number to the ATO officer they told me it was a scam

Very horrible recorded message saying that there is a warrant out for my arrest and I should call the tax office on this number - not going to.

From the Australian Tax Office. There is a warrant out for my arrest. Gave reference number and told me before the documents are executed in Court I should call this number.

Said it as Australian Federal Police with a summons from the ATO being issued. Ring this number to arrange payment. Except I work for the ATO.

Left recorded message on voicemail. Claims to be ATO, that there is a complaint files against me, anounces legal action and warrant for arrest to be issued. Askes to call back that number...pretty sure it’s scam as ATO told me nothing is happeneing.

This is an obvious scam - supposedly from the ATO threatening arrest and urging not to ignore.
