Digitised American accent voice claiming he was from tax department and that a law suit is filed under my name. I hung up at that point

Caller: I don't know

The "caller" pretended to be from the taxation office. Threatened to have me arrested if I do not call back immediately.

Said that it was the taxation auditing department and to call back as someone has been using my name to file returns

Obvious scam - said there was a lawsuit under my name and then threatened arrest if I didn't call back which makes no legal sense

Got the same message re arrest warrant. I called back to get the name of their "service". I could not understand their accent and they hung up on me.

Left a voicemail threatening to arrest me if they did not hear from me. Clearly a scam.

Recorded voice program from Australians taxation department. If I don’t call back right away.. I will “get arrested” scammers!!
Tempted to call back and string them along because I’m bored.

I called back number (02) 8007 5082 rang once then gets disconnected automatically.
