Caller: Some guy with proper Australian accent (pretend to be tax office)

I didn't answered but left a voice messages saying i am involved with a tax fraud.
Yeah whatever!

Scammers beware! Submitted the numbers to the police.

They managed to get a proper Australian voice to recorded a message. Good one!

I just got the same call!!!

I did not answer my phone and a message was left on my voice mail re my family and I are under investigation for fraud and a lawsuit will be filed against us...,,,?????

Definitively a scam call be aware.

Scam. Someone who claimed to be from the ATO. As if the ATO would make contact via a recorded message. Don't call back.

Caller: Australian Tax Office

I picked up and an automated male voice said they were calling from the Australian tax office about tax fraud and that they had been trying to reach me but hadn't been able to. They told me to call a number but I missed it. My sense is it is a scam.

Call came through as a Sydney number, I didn't pick up at the time, but got a robotic recorded voice message claiming they've tried to reach out to me and have been investigating me and my family and a law suit has been filed against me for fraud and I needed to call their offices urgently on (02) 8007 4084... Pffftt, not falling for that one. Beware of this scam.

rang my under no caller id - saying i have committed fraud - good luck with that! Def a scammer
