Leaves a voicemail message about a warrant for your arrest regarding an ATO issue. Scam! Block!

Scammer left a message in a UK Robotic sounding voice to call the ATO regarding a legal case. Quotes a reference number and to call back

Claiming to be ATO; warrant out for my arrest; left a ref number. Obviously a scam

Good golly gosh!

I got a robotic, male UK accented message from Australian Taxation Office telling me I had a legal case and given this number to call back (02) 8006 9994.
I haven’t any legal case at all.
I didn’t call back.

Caller: Supposedly from the ATO

SCAM. It seemed that the call was from India. They ask for your first and last name, address and tax file number. They then state that there is an arrest warrant for your arrest.
HANG UP IMMEDIATELY if you receive a call from this number.

Saying there’s was a warrent for my arrest, something about taxes. I’m fourteen years old. Definitely a scam

I called them and they asked for my name- so I said my name was "go and get f***ed" and he told me to "suck my d**k" so you can be assured he's a scammer!

Australian Tax Office call back scam.
Threatened case from Federal Police through ATO charge back in a synth/robotic voice.
Probably just block it.

ATO scam claiming unpaid taxes resulting in a warrant for my arrest unless I pay them. checked my gov website and nothing from the ATO about an outstanding debt.

Same as others. Robotic voice with English accent. Quoted a number. Threatened legal actions. Warrant for arrest, etc. Supposedly from ATO. I called the number left but no-one answered. Stupid scam.

Left a voice mail regarding a case going on from ATO and ask to call back. Left a reference number too. Sounds like scam. Blocked it.

Called, said there was a complaint to ATO and that there would be a warrant out for my arrest. Left a number for me to call. Didn’t call it. Reported the scan to the ATO.

Left threatening message about court case being filed with the ATO

Voicemail claiming to be the Australian Federal Police warning an imminent ATO case filed against me. Gave ref number as well as Tel number. Hmm ...
