Claim to be from the Department of Reclamation, formerly part of the Department of Finance and that they have been tracing people who have been overcharged by the Banks in past years on transaction and other fees - they give you an amount of money you have supposedly been over charged that you are entitled to and ask you to call this number - (02) 8006 8931 - in order to have your cheque released you will be told to contact the supervisor - Jenny Wilson and quote a reference number after which your money will be sent.
I called the number and indian male says Jenny Wilson is out and she will have to call back and ask for more contact information for "Jenny" to call back.
They had my name and address and asked which bank I was with, asked for more details like mobile phone etc. DO NOT GIVE YOUR DETAILS. SCAM

Say from bank request you pay up front for taxes then they will call you to let you know how to get your money. When you say you will pay, when you get the money they hang up.

Scam. Indian saying they want to refund money from bank. It is just a scam.
