Called and sounded very helpful. Turns out they are trying to get banking details and set up a western union account. DO NOT GIVE ANY DETAILS TO THESE PEOPLE. THEY ARE SCAMMERS.

Also had a call from this mob (originally came thru as an overseas number). I requested a return number and they gave me (02) 8006 8575. Its a scam!

Had a call from Windows Technical Department, gave this number to call back. Yep right, my Ipad is infected with a windows vires....

I had the same experience as Heidi. Someone claiming to be from Windows and that my computer had a malicious virus and that it was imperative that i turned on my computer and spoke to them. They gave me the return number of (02) 8006 8575 even though the call came from 'overseas caller' and the caller had an accent. I'm not going to call back.

A person called me today claiming to work for Microsoft windows and said that my Windows programme had a malicious virus. I asked if I could call back and they gave me the Australian number - (02) 8006 8575. Not willing to call the number as I doubt it is legit.
