Caller: Automated message requesting call back - American accent

Claimed unless I call back they will issue an arrest warrant. Think this is a different number for an old scam where they claim to be from the ATO and ask you to wire transfer funds for a fake tax debt.

I got this one too.

I had a call from this number today. It was an automated message. It basically told me that they were from the Taxation Department and my name was under several lawsuits and that I needed to call their number back. I hung up because I can smell a scam a mile off.

They left a voice message but I deleted it, .before I realized that I could check. It was an automated call number. So who is sending it out?

I just got a call from this number... stating that they are from taxation office and i can be charged under lawsuit for many things under my name... i think this is a scam.

I just received the same call form the same number saying the same. I have been here in Australia for 7 months and I really don't know if was a scam attempt or what... Do you know someone in any NSW service to ask about this?
