Sent my husband an email. I rang. Indians!!!! Daying they are paypal!!!

Got an email saying my order had been accepted and processed, haven't ordered anything.
Just a scam.

Total scam. They said I ordered a mobile phone. IT IS NOT PAYPAL.

Caller: via email claiming from PayPal listing this phone number

Smelt a scam when receiving a suspicious email claiming it was from PayPal requesting us phone this number.
Expect Indians will request your private account details so IGNOR and DELETE email.
1. Checked address in Queensland (70 Mount Berryman Road) which did not exist.
2. This phone number is NSW.
3. Had not made a recent PayPal purchase for the amount claimed.
4. No details of purchase was provided.

Caller: received email asking to ring support on this number

Received an email saying "my order has been accepted" and billing me for "Purchased Item (1) $199.00". Needless to say I had not ordered anything.
The email repeats their telephone number 3 times and saying I have 24 hours to query any transactions.
The listed company "Planet Retail Co." exists but does not sell products only services. The address listed on the email does not exist.
It's a scam!

supposed Paypal email had this number about a bogus purchase. very loud call center

I received a call from this telephone no indicating they were Paypal support. Rang paypal and was advised this is not one of their telephone no's. Can only presume this is a scam attempting to gain paypal login info.

They require you to call back regarding a "subscription" you made for $499 and because you did not want the "subscription" so you want a refund No doubt they then have your account number.
