These scumbags left their horrible message on my 89 yr old aunt's answering machine. With comments about legal action to be taken and arrest warrants issued. Naturally she stressed out about it, and it took some convincing that it was just a hoax. The recorded message sounded very official.

Scam pretending to be ATO

Scammer phoned threatening arrest by the Australian Federal Police on behalf of the ATO and a warrant has been issued.

Saying from Taxation, but a dodgy automated and hard to understand message.

A very narsty scam call claiming to be from the Tax Office saying there is a warrant for my arrest unles I call the above phone number 😬
