i told him i have a solicitor in the family i could use for free, he didnt realy want to talk to me after that...lol bloody waist my day!!

They just called my mother and took her bank details. They called themselves 'The Ministry of Finance' and offered to return $5248 of illegal fees charged by her bank for a one off payment of $199.00 She spoke with a Charlie Hussy and I just rang them back to find out what the rot was about. He told me that they were a government department. I have not been able to find out where they are linked to the Government in any way. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE ANY DETAILS TO THESE PEOPLE!!!

yes i just recieved the same phone call, they gave me a number to ring so i did and they ( charlie hussy ) told me if i paid $199 to their solicitor so they can id me to make sure im the right person, then i recieve the $5,200..

DONT TRUST THESE PEOPLE.  I received a call this afternoon just a previous post said. It was from an Indian Lady. Same details she was calling to say we had been overcharged from the bank $5,248 and needed to refund the money to us. I asked her to explain the details, will we get a letter about this etc who did she work for? She said the reclaim export dept on behalf of the ministry of finance working for the australian government, gave me her managers name Michael Ford and her dept manager as Rebecca Brown  and an Application Code number.  Said if I called tel: (02) 8006 5137 the claim would be finalised and they could send a cheque or direct payment into bank.  The office she called from was very noisy.  I am so glad I came on the net to check if the dept was genuine!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you to the other people who have reported this rip off.
