Called with a message machine saying there has been a sale on my card for 299.00 and to call back if it was not me and they would refund it. No name of the company?? Naturally when I called back there was no answer?????

I called back number (02) 8006 4960 rang once then gets disconnected automatically.

Caller: They said Amazon

Got call saying purchase of $299 made. and to call back if unauthorised. I did call back no answer. But maybe I shouldn't have because of caller id - can they do anything with my number?

Another automated scam call saying that the purchase from Amazon of $299 to call back or press 1. Just hung up

This number left a message: “they will direct debit from my account 299.00 and asked me to call (02) 8064 9604 press one immediately.” when I called back first get disconnected and call them again is no answer!?

I was called on Saturday 25/7/20. The call stated I had made a purchase at Amazon. Therefore $800 odd will be deducted from my account? Obviously I did not make an order from Amazon. Caller insisted on giving my name. Caller asked me to, on the Amazon website to the second page, so that the caller could cancel my order? Disgusting...really!!

I called the number back, he said he was from Amazon, I don't have an Amazon account I told him he is a scammer

Friday 24/7/20 @ 4:30 pm - Voice message: "... will be debited from your account. If you have not placed the order please call us on (02) 8006 4960 or press 1 immediately to speak with our representative to cancel or refund the $299.99 thank you".
When I called back the number first time, there was no answer.
Second time, someone picked up the phone and said "hello this is Amazon.com, how can I help" (indian accent).
When he explained above as a gift transaction, I told him I don't and have not placed an order with Amazon when he said that someone must have access to my details but I interrupted him saying "no one has accessed my details, you are trying to get my bank details so you can refund the money, bullsh*t, stop stealing people's money" and hung up on him.

Yeah got the call the automated message said it was from Amazon

‭(02) 8006 4960‬ Voicemail mail Saying I got money coming out of my account for Amazon.... I’m not even signed up with them 🤦🏽‍♀️ It’s definitely a hoax.

this number rang my mobile and left a msg! something about a 299 sale on my cc that needed to be refunded asap! only thing is I don't have a cr card....so blocked number.

they say they are from Amazon - purchase of $299 on your account. Ring back it hangs up. This is a classic where they ask you if it is authorised transaction - you say no so they normally ask you to go to a app or site called team viewer where you enter your details - then your stuffed - Scammers do not divulge any of your information. Always around an 02 number from Canberra region normally

Saying taking $300 out of my account for unknown item,not knowing who this person is, never said who they were or representing who.

This number left a message about my order being ready and to ring their accounts department. No idea who 'they' are and have not placed any order. so be wary. Probably a scam.

This number left a message: “it’s from your account. If you have not take the order please call us at (02) 8064 9604 press one immediately to speak with our representative.” The bad English tells me it’s not genuine.
