The spam robot left message recording pretending to be ATO saying there is an issue with tax filings and warrants have been issues for arrests. It gives you instructions to call them back at the same number.

Scam saying from ATO

Saying paperwork sent out to address (was returned) for tax avoidance and that warrant has been issued must return phone call.

scam hung up. the ATO usually send mail or contacts your account..

Just got this ATO scam call this morning -15 June 2020 going on about tax "avoidation" (no such word! haha) in a recorded message. Pay no attention and block/delete this number.

Pre-recorded message stating a warrant for my arrest and to call back immediately.

Left a message saying that my account is overdue and no signed papers were returned. There’s also a warrant for my arrest and that I have to ring the same number to avoid court dates.
Some people should be ashamed of themselves.

Yep done the same to me called them out for being a scam and he called me a bastard and admitted it was a scam!

Claimed to be from ATO, saying warrant will be filed to the local court and local police due to tax fraud. They will say your case can be resolved if you immediately go to the bank to withdraw cash and deposit it in the bank account provided.
