I had a call about 3 weeks ago, and it sounded suss, so I hung up..... just had another one today, and decided to let him think I was falling for it..... I spoke to "John Martin"..... and he was very hap[py to give me the number to call him back to verify.... Luckily I check with a friend who is computer savvy!!

yeh guys i got the same call twice in the same day. I questioned him every step of the way and all his responses were scripted. Dont trust anything they say and dont waste your time talking to them.

just had a call same deal as above ,heavy indian accent same ph no. called them back  they try to get you run event vvr.. do not do it!  notifying police

I received a call tonight from 'Steve Allen' - from the Microsoft Service Support department and they had discovered serious and critical problems with my PC and where going to help me fix them - I just had to follow his instructions. I challenged him a few times - name of his organisation, how they received my number, what malicious virus report was sent to them from my computer - he was a tad agressive. In the end, he said he was unable to answer any of my queries and I asked him who could - he provided with this number (02) 8006 1421 - which I called and was then speaking to 'Austin Jones' (cool names) - I am convinced it was the same person - anyway, he tells me they are in Sydney, the company is 24into7 Software Solutions, and the world will end if I don't let them help me and follow their instructions over the phone - I ask him for the companies ACN or ABN - he can't provide, I ask him for details of the bug report 'sent from my PC' - he can't provide - in the end I ask him for an email address. it's sosp-teks @ gmail.com - I then hang up, wondering why I wasted all my time.

I had the same company ring (24into7 from 173 Sussex Street Sydney Ph (02) 8006 1421) who went by the name of Julius Martin.  When I asked what his Indian name was he said it was Ricky Jones.  I told him that I didn't run windows which stumped him.  Then I asked how he got our number (didn't tell him he had asked for my father who is deceased!!) and he said a data base.  I told him I was on the do not call register and it is illegal for him to ring up and try and sell anything.  He was apologetic and said he would remove my number.  When I rang the number (just to see what happened) an Indian guy answered.  Are they in Aust or get the call transferred to India?

My woman was named Pamala Watson with a thick indian accent.. she got so frustrated with my questions that she told me to .. quote.. 'go to hell' before she hung up on me!!It was about 'bugs' in my computer... ugh!
