Got a call from this number 1/10/15. Asian accent, said she was from the ANZ Bank. Same conversation as Richard, Brisbane. I refused to give my DOB and phoned the ANZ who confirmed it's a scam.

Just had an indian lady ring and ask to speak to me and said that she was from the Banking Association and if I was happy with my current bank (I worked in banking for 23 years so I know that this is false) I said yes and then she asked who that was with. I refused to give her the information and she just hung up. Watch out for them!

This woman said she was from Peoples Choice CU is South Australian only, the phone number (02) 8006 0864, has an 02 area code being NSW, so I was wary. She wanted my date of birth to check whom I was so they could return overcharged fees from the Government. I then asked why she wanted my DOB and was hung up on.

Asian sounding person called from this number saying she was from head office of Beyond Bank in Sydney. Claimed they wanted to refund overcharges made on my account. She got upset when I challenged her and told her I only deal with my local branch and will contact them and then hung up on me. Called number back and got nothing. Beware.

I got a call from (02) 8006 0864 and an indian sounding lady expressed that I was being overcharged by the Commonwealth Bank, I said your not from the bank and she says, "how do you know that", I almost pissed myself laughing, some funny scammers out there, I tried calling the number back and it goes to a answering machine with the same sounding accent, saying the person your after is not available

Had a call from this number 20/07/2015. Female with Asian accent. Said that she was from the head office of the Police Credit Union of SA. Stated that I had been overcharged fees and that they wished to reimburse me as it was now Govt Policy. She knew all my details but required my credit card particulars as they wanted to place the reimbursed money in to my direct account. She gave me a security code number and said that someone will be ringing me back the next day to advise how much I was to receive. She also said that the money will be paid into my account but depending on the amount, there would be a 10% fee that I would need to pay them first at a post office. I,contacted my credit provider and they advised that it is a scam. Be aware.
