Apparently a warrant for my arrest is being issued. Funny thing is.....I'm already in prison. Arsehole scammers

Where do these idiots get off claiming to be from the ATO. And are there enough people out there stupid enough to believe a recorded voice threatening them?

Received a message for my arrest in automated robotic voice. Scam

Definitely Scam!

Got a call from this number. As I did not know the number & it wasn’t from my contact list, I didn’t answer as per usual. Because I don’t answer strange or hidden numbers.
Not too long afterwards I get a txt message saying that I had a new voice message from above number.
It was automated & said that if I did not call the number back that I would get arrested. (Obviously a bullsh*t scam call)
Beware of any such calls.
My advice; if you don’t no the number calling you, don’t answer. If for some reason it’s legit or important then they can/should leave a message with details. But never answer unknown calls & never give out your private details.

Fraud. left a message stating they were from tax department and if I didn't phone them back they would issue an arrest warrant.

new taxation scam, recorded/automated voice, telling me there was a case against me and they would issue an arrest warrant in my name if i didnt call them back. Yeah right

Voicemail left, machine voice saying that if I don't call them back, they would issue an arrest warrant. Also that there is some outstanding lawsuits against my name (didn't say my name at all though). Seems very scam like, I will not call them back.

I called back number (02) 8005 6922 rang once then gets disconnected automatically.
