Claimed to be from the ATO, wanted me to call back otherwise an arrest warrant would be put out in my name. :(

I reported the number to the ATO.

I didn't pick up but it left the voice message and missing some words from beginning. It said that there's a lawsuit under my name and want me to contact them by myself ASAP. Otherwise,they will arrest me.

had call from 80056641 and message sent to my mobile states they are from the ato and were threatening message of arrest,so I rang 40 times via a land line as I did not know this number ,finally and indian answered the phone requesting my nume I would not tell them asking them why he was threatening me and I would contact the police he soon hung up

Left a robotic voicemail saying that I was going to be arrested and there is a warrant out for me. Don’t pick up folks

Called, hung up, then called back and left a message to say a warrant will be issued for my arrest. I called the number back repeatedly as they kept hanging up. I then got a guy who sounded like he was from the Congo and said he was Officer Mark Henry. I told him what I thought of his scam and finished the call then.

Bogus call about a lawsuit filed in my name or some such fantasy. Sigh...

I received the same message today too. Claimed there was a lawsuit being filed in my name and directed me to call this number (02) 8005 6641) otherwise an arrest warrant would be put out for me.

An automated caller from ATO, asking me to return call or else will get arrested.

ring number they hang up. scam about unpaid taxes etc.
