Tried to call back on land line as this came through onour mobile....does not answer.
No name or from where the call came from ....second scam in a week.

Caller: Someone claiming to be from the ATO

I received a call from the number with a recorded message claiming to be from the ATO and that my family and I were being investigated.

Phone call from this number - there was a robotic voicemail left informing me they were from the ATO and I am being investigated for fraudulent behaviour. Number is now blocked.

I received a call on my mobile from this number stating it was an automated message from the ATO, advising that they were instigating charges for tax fraud and or evasion. I hung up and redialled the number saying I missed a call from them only to be informed by an Asian sounding voice advising me " Oh so sorry, wrong number", then he hung up. Yeah right, we all believe that one. Reported the number to the real ATO

Last Tuesday someone left a voice mail on my phone and it says i need to return call to this number. They said from ATO and they harassing me to pay atlist 500 or 1000 because they said i had a Mal calculation on my tax and i owed 7899 from ATO. They are totally scam ignore them.

I received a call from the number with an electronic sounding voice as well today and called ATO. They advised that it was definitely a scammer.
