I also spoke to this person on this number today saying that they are calling numbers from my area as they believe computers have been infected with malicious software. When I asked where he was from he said windows maintence departments rychshore in Sydney. The number he gave was (02) 8005 0211 . Dont open your computer or give any details re this matter. Report it to scam watch at the Australian government hotline,

They'll claim to know your license keys and that your computer is infected or hacked. If they do know anything then it's them that have hacked it or bought or stolen a database that has those details. Hang up and report them. If you suppect that you know where they might have got your details from then report that too.

Looks like these guys are still trying this scam. -I was just contacted on the same number, from a company that identified itself as Richshore PC in Sydney (I think) and for which their given website address does not address. They assured me my computer was "corrupted" and wanted me to run imf from the command prompt; at which point I ended the call.
I've reported this to the scam watch hotline...

my father who is old and frail was called and talked into getting access to his computer and now is being pestered by this number for computer access and money - SHAMEFUL!!

Keep getting the same call 3-5 times a day and want me to start up my computer...I beleive it's a scam as well be careful.
