This person calls every day and hangs up as soon as it goes to Answering Machine. Obviously a scammer. I am on the Do Not Call Register but that doesn't seem to help. Very annoying.

Caller: Danny from Telstra Techincal Department

Told me our internet had been compromised and I told him I'd ring Telstra myself and he hang up quick!

After picking up the phone all I heard was good-bye. Scam scam scam.

They were trying the same scam last year, I simply said this is ABCD Police Station how can I assist again and they hung up with the speed of a thousand startled mudskippers.

Caller: Indian accent

Scammer, said that my internet would be cut off for 7 days, had just gotten off the phone to telstra and they had fixed it. Quite convincing till I started asking questions, got dis jointed quickly. Told him I was on the other line to telstra, he freaked out.

(02) 7856 8742 Rang my landline at 3am in the morning, probably calling from overseas given the time. MOST annoying.

Have had the Telstra calls before. This time it was someone trying to sell me solar panels for the roof. They got off the call fast when told it would need body corporate approval

This number continues to call and hangs up when answered.
Don't see the point even if it is a scam.

Caller: Scam

Usual rubbish about being from Telstra. Say they are doing a server change and needed to make mods and wanted me to install the teamviewer remote access software. After 10 minutes I got bored wasting their time so suggested they go to bullsh*t.com They instantly hung up.

Caller: 'Michael from Telstra'

Rang today--very persuasive, said there was a lot of info going out from my computer. I didn't believe him, even though he said he was from Telstra and gave me a so-called ID. I rang Telstra just to check--was on the phone for 17 minutes to them and this number rang 3 times during the call, but didn't leave a message. Had an Indian accent. The lady I spoke to at Telstra agreed that it was a phishing scam.

Had this number on my phone as a missed call, when I call it back it says the number is disconnected. Obviously scammers

Has called once/twice a day for months, when I answer they say they are from telstra, are tracking suspicion activity on my internet if they don't fix it I will be disconnected within 24 hrs. People don't give them access to your computer!!! Scam Scam Scam!!

After a short pause, a lady with an Indian accent said she was from Telstra. Knew my name. She said, "Did you know that your internet will be cut off in two hours?" I hung up.

call centre. Call disconnected after 5 seconds. no one spoke

Hang up call - other forums have said that this is a Telstra tech scam - I believe that's more than likely.

Rang pretending to be Telstra. Told my husband they had noticed suspicious activity on our internet and were going to disconnect us in 24 hours. Never asked to speak to the account holder or verify who they were talking to.

Called when I was out but did not leave message. Would be a scam

possible scammer as did not get through the Telstra Call Guardian phone and did not leave a message

Had two missed calls from this number - redialed it within a few minutes to tell me that it is not connected..

answered the call... silence... nothing for 10 seconds then dropped out... just a little sus I reckon
