It was a recorded message saying they were from Telstra and they were letting me know that in the next day or two my Internet connection would be cancelled. They then asked to 'Press 1 for ...' I hung up.

Automated voice advising my Telstra internet would be disconnected and that I’d need to press 1 to avoid this happening.

I hung up.

Don't answer numbers that look suspicious. Called back, message, "This number is not connected, please check the number......................".

Supposedly Tesltra telling me my internet service will be terminated today. What a load of $@/&-(). It is a computer generated voice recording so obviously isn't.

"SCAM" When called back was told that number was not connected.

Caller: Claiming to be Telstra

Called saying internet was going to be disconnected due to unauthorised access. Wanting to know details about account, plus what devices were being used on the account. Spoke to Telstra and this is a scam. Do NOT give name or any account details.

Said they were from the Telstra internet termination team. Said press 1 to stop termination or press 2 to go ahead with termination. I pressed 2 and it was going to put me through to someone but then it just hung up.

Caller: Claim to be Telstra

We are the Telstra termination team your Internet will be closed down if you do no not return this call. As if ?
