Yes I believe this is a scam, I also got a call from (02) 7253 9530 Then from (02) 7259 5724. So just unscrupulous callers hacking into our systems. The telcos are allowing this instead of securing our telephony systems. On my mobile I have set unless you are in my telephone list the calls do not ring on my phone.

Got a call from this number, which I ignored. An hour later got a call from (02) 7253 9559. So clearly they’re just going through the NSW area code numbers they’ve purchased (or whatever).
