said they were from ebay asked me to download an app anydesk as my ebay had been charged for gift cards .

Received the call, called them back. The woman didn't identified herself. Strong Indian accent. Told me that somebody is trying to purchase a eBay gift card in my name. When asked her how does she know it is in my name since I didn't identified myself, or told her my name she hung up.

It’s a teenage girl who likes to pretend she’s from eBay then changes her accent and make it she’s an Indian!!! Honey we tracked your IP address... You live in Bacchus Marsh and stop using your boyfriend’s laptop set up little scams you have been reported to police go and get mental health check because your behaviour and character is not normal and you are a danger to society.

Caller said they were from a software company, knew my name. I asked how they got it, and they avoided question. I hung up then called back and number was disconnected.
