Picked up by antivirus TREND as spam. Automatically blocked. Received several 02 751 numbers, sometimes 5 a day.

Caller: (02) 7251 8948 from Your Community

I recognised this loud pushy direct tone of voice from this female caller, she has called me before. She identified herself as from Your Community, she talked about people in Australia living on the poverty line and not having enough food to eat. It was difficult for me to even speak, she would talk over the top of me. I explained that I was not in a financial position to make charity donations. She kept pursuing her line of call. I again repeated myself but she just kept going. I finally took the action of thanking her for the call and then hung up on her. She would have to be the most annoying person that has called me, and when I did manage to say something, my voice would echo back to me on the call. Very suspicious, am blocking this phone number and I would suggest others do the same!

SCAM

Caller: Apparent pest

No message: comments above seem to confirm pest status.

Rang back.. some extension, no company name, some mailbox that is full......... now blocked.

No message left. Another scammer, another number blocked.

They called and hung up, sounds like a call centre in the background. Blocked number.

Unknown number so let go to answering machine, no message left.

continued calls with very similar numbers. Hang up when answered phone. Phone identified as spam.

Caller: Pest

From preceding posts, including my own, this is clearly a pest caller.

phone flagged the call as spam...declined the call ...number now blocked

I didn't recognise the number so sent it to voicemail. No message left, so it is probably a spam caller as mentioned by the other comments. Number is now blocked.

Fundraiser

Constantly calling. No message left. Possible scammer

Caller: Sweet sounding female asking for donations.

Says she represents multiple charities and I became suspicious when she said they prefer visa direct debit. I didn't fall for it.

Charity survey. Rings constantly from different numbers. The same person with distinctive voice who uses different names.
