Solar rebate spam

I keep getting calls from this number and then they hang up. Quite annoying as this is my work mobile and I have to answer it.

I keep getting calls from this number, I don’t answer but when I call back I get a message that the call can’t connect due service difficulties.

6 missed calls from this number and I don't know anyone with an 02 number. Lucky I never answer this phone.

It's the third time in a week I have blocked their number but they (r/soles) come up with another number. True caller is loving it.

Calling everyday its very annoying

12 calls from this this number is 3 days.

Several calls a week for the last couple of months from this number and when I answer they hang up - when they do speak they have Indian accent and ask about what electricity company I’m with - they are rude and pushy and then hang up.

Caller: Solar rebate abuse of privacy

I have received more than forty calls from this Solar Rebate scam. I have asked them not to call repeatedly, I have asked to speak to the manager (they hang up on me at this point), I have said I am not interested. I registered a complaint with the Australian federal body that regulates this and put my number on the Australian Do Not Call register, and for a while (6 months) the calls stopped.

However as of two weeks ago the phone calls have started again. I once again have had to stop answering my phone if it’s a number I don’t know. Occasionally I forget and pick up.

The first thirty times they rang I was living in a rental flat (so a rebate in solar panels was impossible even if I was interested), but even telling them this didn’t stop the calls.

These calls are an abuse and invasion of privacy, and have become harassment. Our government should be doing more to stop them.

Calling about my electrical service! When I mentioned I don’t have electricity service (it’s under my husband’s Name) she hung up on me. Definitely scammers.

I tried to call back the number (02) 7201 8297 but the person who picked up the phone disconnected the call
