I received a call from this number today, my phone showed the caller as a potential fraud. I did not pick up and a minute later i received a Chinese voice msg. I do not speak Chinese and have no interests or dealings with any Chinese speaking organization so i am confident this is a scam.

Reporting a scam. BLOCK THIS NUMBER! This number made an unlawful recorded message call. This is a scam.

I picked up and greeted by Chinese speaking automate answer, hang up right away.

yes received a call from this number, some automated message in chinese, really why does the australian government let people get away with this, earlier in the week i received the same message from another number 0416 376 642

It is clearly a chinese scam, why is the police or the govt or telstra not stopping these numbers? its clearly a scam

I just received a call form this number, looks like they are starting up again

I have registered my phone but have not released the number to anyone at all. Only used it for checking email and Facebook and fab messenger so how did they get my number?

Message left on voice mail in Chinese did not understand it - not Chinese - treat as scam or hoax and block number.

Recorded message in Chinese/mandarin. Answered as assumed it was a Canberra number

I didn't answer. It looked suspicious. My voice to text message said it left a message that couldn't be converted to text. So assuming like the previous feedback message was in Mandarin. I've blocked the number.

This is a scam number, (02)start but said from ACT

Although this number is also on a chinese visa application centre's website, but a scammer somehow found a way to use this phone number to call me and asked me for money. Be very careful!!!

Chinese speaking message on my mobile, which is on do not call register

I received a call on my phone which is on the do not call register. I don't speak Chinese & don't intend visiting China.

This number has called four people in my office today. It is a recorded message in Chinese. When I looked up the number it came up as visaforchina.org
Not sure what they were trying to achieve.

This number played a recording which I didn't understand as it was not English, but seemed like Mandarin. I tried calling back but the number was not reachable.
