Called by what appeared to be a Canberra number - (02) 6216 6129.

Robo-call from the “ATO”. Rang it back, went to a voicemail for a guy named Luke.

Caller: ATO (supposedly)

Recorded message regarding unpaid tax and giving the option to press 1 to resolve the issue immediately. When I called back, I was connected but no-one available to take my call, and invited to leave a message. The number that called me was (02) 6216 8862. Appears to be a SCAM and just hope no innocent people are being sucked in by it. Very scary message until you realise it is fake!

I got a call from these numbers robotic recording but the numbers displayed (02) 6216 8840 etc... answered the first time the operator was from Indian accent. No emails from ATO to my personal a/c or MyGov. Dumb F*s

Its a scam. Blocked it.

Just received a call from (02) 6216 4034, same as all of these a recorded message from the ATO saying I'd committed tax fraud. Hung up immediately and didn't ring back, but I think it's safe to say it was a scam as it's a similar number to all of these with the same message

Just got a call saying it's my last chance to contact the ATO otherwise I'll be arrested. Recorded message sounded robotic

Received a an ATO scam call on Monday from (02) 6216 1120, then a call from this number (02) 6216 1191) on Wednesday. I answered expecting it to be the same however just disconnected straight away. Received a call (02) 6216 1192 today (Friday) and same thing, just disconnected. Clearly a scam. I am just keeping track of it all to report it on here.

Yes I got a call from 6216 1191 today and then 6216 1111 when it was 2 days ago. Scam ATO. How cruel.

I rang this number back after a missed call, only to hear a recorded message with ‘could not be connected, please check your number’.

This is a recorded message saying it is the ATO and you are going to be arrested for non-payment of tax

I called back the number (02) 6216 1191, rang many times and got disconnected automatically

this number is same (minus last two digits) as a scam ATO call I received yesterday
