Said I'd recently entered a competition to win a $5000 JB HiFi gift card .... which I have not. I've been getting pumped with these kinds of calls lately, ever since I signed a petition for AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL ... I selected "No contact" and was just trying to help out, now I regret my decision. They've clearly passed my details around. Download "Truecaller" honestly amazing seeing all the numbers in my phone list that are spam! Also, adding number onto Do Not Call Register, as companies who do not abide can be fined thousands of dollars. A handy catch phrase for those who always get these calls "I'm on the DNCR and I'm reporting your number. Have a good day!" 😂

Keeps calling. I never answered. Thanks to everyone who posted their comments, I have now blocked this caller. BTW they also call from other numbers. I know this because the comments on the other numbers are similar to the ones from this post.

I hardly understood what he said. I allegedly had entered an competition and there was a draw etc. He wanted info from me. Very suss.

Called saying I had entered a competition but had to complete a survey to complete entry. Stupidly agreed. All the questions were about Charities, if i was interested in giving money or donating. Said No to most of them, yet the next day, got FIVE (yes FIVE) phone calls in an hour from five different charities that were mentioned in the survey asking me to donate and thanking me for expressing interest in the survey. When I asked the charities how they got my number, they all said from Brand of Choice and the survey i completed. Rang them back and made a complaint. They NEVER disclosed to me that my phone number would be passed onto others and that is illegal. They tried to get me to then call someone else so my number would be taken off their database and I said no way, you caused this problem, you are fixing it. And they agreed. So i will check tomorrow whether it was actually done or not. Long story short, DO NOT, i repeat DO NOT answer the survey. It will result in many annoying phone calls.

Didn't leave a message, but since getting a new phone and downloading some apps (think it was a special keyboard app for the phone or it may have been the new version of messenger), and although I didn't provide any details to these apps, started to receive messages saying I had won a Myer or Woolworths or Coles gift card and phone calls from this phone number.

Be careful what you download - so many apps take it as a given that they have total access to all of your photos, messages, contact details, and your camera, whenever and wherever they like - to use in whatever way they choose.

Ignore phone calls from this number.

Tried to complete a short survey to win a Bunnings voucher as invited to do by Smurf Village game being played by my child. impossible to finish as it just goes on and on. This was last night. My phone has run hot all day from ths one and 2 other Qld numbers.These 'surveys' are phishing' scams. Beware.

Didn't answer because I didn't know the number. No vm left so I think it's a telemarketer. I feel for a scam email about winning a gift card and then after filling it in I started getting all these random number calls.

It is a scam competition that offers you a $500 Woolworths voucher if you complete a short survey. My daughter works for Woolies, NO such competition running.
