Threatening call from ATO, clearly a scam

claimed to be tax department. sounds like a scam

something about tax avoidance as a pensioner i don't pay tax let alone avoid it seems like a scam

This number did not appear in my logs. strange. Is SCAM claiming to be from ATO that you will be arrested for fraud. Police advised some have been tricked into paying thousands not to be arrested. I know it's a scam as I have never avoided tax.

Called my mobile. Was a robotic msg. Said it was Australian Taxation Office and that I was flagged for defrauding tax and a warrant was issued for my arrest. That I should call this number back immediately to avoid arrest. I know it is a SCAM as our local police had put out a warning months ago. Hung up. Will not let me log it on app. called Who Called Me.
