Yep got the same thing as Rod - call saying there is an urgent law suit & I needed to call some number.. so annoying grr.

It's claim to be an ATO department (A Toilet Organisation) have a law suit case against me, while I was listening to him I heard a girl singing at the back and call "ma ma", well I know this is the fair dinkum or as too good to be true !

I received a call from this number with a recorded message saying to reply to this number urgently as there is a Law suit against me. They said from the ATO and they had my name. They said it related to my tax and they are taking legal action. However I did not call back and no intention too. Thanks Rod !

Same deal as Rod at 3.46pm 19 July 2017. Same call - foreign voice saying that had a law suit against me from the ATO. They are scum bag crooks. Do not call them. I have reported to ATO.

Calls and just leaves a pre-recorded message saying they are from Tax office and their is a lawsuit against me, told me not to ignore the message. I ignored the message and blocked the call. The tax office is located in Albury and this number traces to Canberra. The tax office always call with real people, and send messages to mobiles and leave message in the mygov tax portal, therefore THIS is a SCAM NUMBER - 100%.

pretty sure this is a scam regarding ATO law suit

ATO scam - automated voice ....This is not from the ATO it is someone who wants YOUR money

claimed to be from ATO. Said I owe money to tax office and they will send law enforcement. I just so happened to have logged into ATO account earlier today. I'm sure if I owed money, I would know about it.

This number is a law suit scam. I have received several calls from it in the last few days with no message being left until today. The message was from a machine voice not a human.

Received a call from this number to my business phone today. When answered, it was a recorded message saying his name was Officer Matthew Clark from the tax department & not to ignore the message as a lawsuit was being filed against me (us? it was our company number... who knows exactly who they were chasing as no name was given on my behalf & several employees here!) Gives a number to call back, but after searching the name, similar fraudulent calls have been made exactly the same under different numbers. Ignore call & report to authorities.

When I answered a speech bot began a prerecorded message about the ATO filing a lawsuit against me and that I needed to call a number it gave me.
I find it suspicious that this number is unidentifiable coming from the ATO, and the nature of the call didn't seem right.
I'm positive this is a scam, be cautious!
