I had a call from this number and they wouldnt verify who they are. call come up in my iphone that is from Yass in NSW

Another scam , just got dodgy email with return number , call coming from Yass area.
I keep calling back & hanging up

I had a message from this number requesting callback to avoid legal costs. When I refused to give my name until the man explained who they were he hung up. Not willing to put my full name on here as he may look up names on this site

These people have no thought at all for the person they are trying to scam. I was almost coughing up a lung and they still called me several times in the matter of a few hours.

Scam clams to be from the ATO don't respond

Scam ATO threatening action. Hung up on 1st recorded call on 14/11, second received hours later being a recorded call again stating I had hung up on them & this was my final warning

SCAM! Do not respond. Claim to be the ATO final warning, bout to take legal action.

I received a call from this number today 10/11/16, claimed as ATO, robbot msg asked me to call back.
Before I call any strange number back, I always check them on Google, so then I know if they are scam. Base on all the comments above, I am sure it is SCAM!

It's all been said here. Scam. Feel free to respond in no uncertain terms. I wonder if these douche bags will ever find some self respect. Scam should so often be changed to scum.

SCAM -- Message from +0991108 Claiming to be the ATO (Australian Tax Office) who needs you to contact them immediately on this number (02) 6169 1058) to avoid criminal charges etc. Needless to say, NO NOT RESPOND !!!! Very aggressive and continuous robo-calling on "Anonymous" and "+0991108" until I finally answered.

Claimed to be ato claiming tax fraud investigation

I rang the ATO and they confirmed it is a scam. I also received a recorded "Final Notice" threat from them on +0991108

received a phone call saying they were the ATO and i was being prosecuted for tax evasion. I don't evade or avoid tax and i have an accountant that lodges the returns. They advised me to get a solicitor to ring them .... must be a scam as ATO would send mail.
