Yup, our call had all the same elements as above: Jason ATO police arrest tax evasion. So many levels of wrong and stupid. My heart goes out to the elderly man mentioned above. Can't some agency call this number and sting them?

Came up as a private number then proceeds to say I am Jason O'Connor from the ATO.
Supposedly I am a tax evader and the Police are on the way to my place with a warrant for my arrest too!!!!
Left the same recorded message twice in 20 minutes

Some guy from Ato I have the police after me and that I am going to jail I have to call him back ASAP he left his name and number on my answering machine left a long message. All I can do was laugh about it as I was only at my accounts office 20 minutes b4 this message was left.
