this is a scam

When I answered I received a digital recording from an unknown female stating there was a civil complaint filed against me. Should I call back I will be entering into a legal matter. I was advised by my lawyer that this was a scam and not to call back.

Similar to above call sayingt it was the ATO and my house was under surveilance.

Got a voicemail in the form of a recorded female voice stating that my house was under surveillance and I was a prime suspect in a crime. Said that I needed to call back... I'm thinking it's a scam

scam: recorded message quote "We suspect for the case been filed against your name and your house is under surveillance. So do not disregard this message and call me back ASAP on (02) 6145 0140. I repeat it's (02) 6145 0140. Remember delay in calling us back the end into Legal prosecution. Thank you."
