Called twice - once from "Amazon" and one pretending to be "Paypal". For Amazon the guy went onto trying to say there was something around a giftcard. As soon as I hung up I got a note from Amazon that somebody had tried to access my account and requested the OTTP number. Confirmed Indian scammers, and I shall henceforce be answering any calls from this number as Les Grossman from Tropic Thunder.

100% scam. Block and Delete.

Someone called pretending to be from Amazon.

Canberra number called, and as it is local for me I answered. No answer, just hung up. Blocked and Deleted.

Claimed to be ‘Bruce’ from Amazon Customer Care calling about a MacBook he says I bought. Shows as a Canberra number, but long delays in responses like an international caller. Indian accent. Scam.

Rang today. Did not leave a message. U did not ring back.

I did not answer but after reviewing this website I suspect it was a scam

Called and pretended to be from Amazon, and started making sexually explicit comments when I asked further questions.

It was gross and I feel violated.

Called and did not leave message. Called back and no answer but clearly a spam/scam called based on everyone else’s comments

Called this afternoon, showed up as a Canberra/Act number I could barely hear the person on other end but they sounded Indian origin and mentioned an order from Amazon I think. I told them the F off and they hung up. I then tried to call number back and it said it was disconnected

Indian sounding call centre says it's Amazon to confirm my order. When I said I didn't order anything, she wanted my details to cancel the order. I said no and good bye. She wanted my details!!!??? SCAM

This number called and said they were 'MY DAD". After laughing hung up and blocked call. Total scam as my father is not of subcontinent decent nor is he alive.

Said they were from Amazon and tried to get my email address. When I said I don’t use Amazon (a lie) they hung up

They accidentally rang me and I could hear a man and a woman talking in Hindi (which I can speak fluently).

Got a call from this number. Woman told me she was from Commonwealth Bank and that I had a $500 payment from NAB for a medical procedure in the US. I asked why Comm Bank was calling me as I didn’t have a Commbank account. She said they are the payment gateway. I asked her which branch she was calling from, she said Sydney. I asked her for the trans ID as I didn’t have a NAB account. She got flustered and hung up

This number called about 11am, 13th Jan. 2023.
The number is not familiar to me, and the (02) prefix especially suggested it was from NSW or Canberra, and I am a long, long way from there, and I have not got any business or contacts happening with there, so, as I usually do with such calls, I did not answer, and let it ring out. It did NOT leave a message after that (so it did not have anything important or urgent to say). Then dialed the number from my other mobile (which has number sending already presently turned off) and it seems the number is 'not presently receiving calls', and which is consistent with previous nuisance trash calls. But it is not a number that I've previously had trouble with before blocking (and it will quickly join the list if it starts that business of ringing again and again).
And so (as I usually do next) then I checked at places like here at reverse call to see if the number had any 'form', ...and was not disappointed.
