American computer voice message stating that "legal Paperwork" had been sent but not signed and therefore had to contact them to resolve the matter urgently and to take the matter seriously. This is a SCAM! no paperwork has ever been sent out. Nothing that was mentioned comes under any Australian laws.

I answered the phone call, but caller did not say anything then hang up! Maybe I sounded unlikely could be scammed??? They might target older people etc. My guess.

Tax fraud and warrant for my arrest and execution

Recorded mensagem saying was from Australia Tax Office, Camberra.
Urging me to press a certain number to solve the problem, but I did not respond to request. After the caller did hang up i called that number and a gentleman with Australian accent answer the call but i did not say anything and he did hang up the call.

When I don't know a number on a phone I speak very softly when I answer the call.
if its a machine at the other end it usually disconnects.

Hoax tax call that despite going to all the trouble of getting a number out of Canberra is done using an American voice...lol.
