Caller: Scam

My message was supposedly from the tax office who had issued a warrant for my arrest unless I paid an outstanding tax bill

Got a call to say call back and if I don't there will be a warrant for my arrest.

Scam call - automated american accent.

I also had a call from the number 02 6100 3058 - when I picked up it was a recorded message that said records indicated I'd made an error on my tax / avoided tax / fraudulent tax (something like that) and that I would be audited, that it was very important I called them back on the number they called me on, and that it was very time sensitive. I found these comments and then also asking around was told the ATO would never call and leave a recorded message in this way.

Automated voice message...SCAM... claiming from the ATO and that I needed to pay outstanding tax bill and they have a warrant for my arrest. No money owing to ATO so definitely a scam. Block the number I say.

Automated voice message, stating that it was the ATO and a warrant was being issued for my arrest. Figured it was a scam, as I dont owe them anything. I did a call back, and the line does not answer. Be Aware. This is a scam. I have had several missed calls from this number.

Recorded message, terrible English syntax, as mentioned above supposedly from the ATO claiming warrant for arrest for tax avoidance.

called 5 times and hang up since when does the ATO do that

So called ATO called and issued a warrant for my arrest unless I paid an outstanding tax bill of 3852.00.
I stupidly gave them 100.00 through careless cash as a deposit.

I am a moron.

Same call as above. When I rang the number back, and Indian Man answered the number and said he was from the Legal Department of the ATO. I hung up. I assume the police know about this but it is the first time that someone has answered when I have rung them back.

Must be doing the rounds, as I also have an arrest warrant issued on me

Got a call from 6100 3058. An automated msg telling me that my tax file was incorrectly filed and now there was a warrant out for my arrest. Googled it and found this page. Looks to be a scam. Ignore it.

Caller: 99.99% sure its a Scam

Called back on the landline and it hangs up after awhile.
Scam most likely only works on the mobile huh.
