I just had a VM from someone from this number claiming that moneys owed. Legal action if I dont call and pay.

I received a phone call from (02) 6064 2068 who told me I have missed my court date and owe the 'ATO' thousands because i have evade tax from 2005 . . they were very rude and kept cutting me off when I was speakng. I got my accountant to call back and they didn't answer.

Just received a call from the Indian man about the ATO & I just hung up

I received the same to day i have not rung back it is a scammer..

Left a message claiming to be from ATO for tax evasion. I'll be arrested etc etc

Received a scam message, claims to be tax office re a law suit. Given they do not refer by name or provide a case number I am not returning the call.

"Officer Peter Williams" Claimed to be from ATO, clearly a scam, put the phone down when I asked more details.

just got the same call claiming to be from ATO when I questioned him asking to prove he was from ATO he told me to stop wasting his time and slammed the phone down ..extremely aggressive and rude

Left a message saying I need to call back as soon as possible to avoid being sued. Got scam written all over it.

Received same call on 24 June. Message tells me to call him back to avoid consequences against me.

I answered the call to have an Indian man ask me 'is this Mrs Smith?' (my grandmother), i said no, and he replied with 'well f**k you b**ch'. After that i hung up as I didn't want to hear what else he had to say!

Had a call from this number today, claiming to be from the ATO, advising of an audit being done and to pay the ATO immediately or ATO officers and police would attend and arrest me in an hour. Clearly a scam, caller provided badge number etc, all illegitimate.

Demanding message left demanded urgent call from our "attorney" to avoid charges against us. Obvious scam!!!

Hi Steph, I received the same call today. I have not rung it back as it sounds like a scammer.
