They took so long to respond to my 'hello' I hung up.

Same scam today - called and said I had a virus on my computer. They said they were in Melbourne but the area code is 02.

These guys have changed their number. They have been using other numbers as well as this.

A man by the name of Duane called yesterday claiming he was from the Telstra anti-hacking department. He did his spill and when I asked for the building address of where he worked (said that he was at 242 Exhibition St, Melbourne which is the address for one of the Telstra buildings) his reply was quite rude and asked me just to listen to what he was saying. He then asked for Remote Access into my computer which I denied and hung up. Note that I have called Telstra direct just querying these calls and they have confirmed that is definitely not them and they would not call the client direct about this type of thing. Do not give these people a chance and just hang up. The number they called from was (02) 5616 0105.

They called me twice now! and were so bloody insistent that they were Telstra and actually trying to help me, they sounded convincing at first bc they had my name and address details and all but you're 100% right they are scammers and just messed up liars

Apparently Sarah Harris from Channel 10 called me from this number - no message left and no number connected when I called back. Load of rubbish and added to my blocked callers list

Just received as call - said they were from Green Solutions Solar company. Can the carriers not do something about this nonsense????? Who is paying the wages of the callers - who is making money from these irritating calls???

These callers are calling me about 2-3times a day and when I answer they hang up . Have registered my complaint AGAIN with the no call register. We'll see if it stops.

Have phoned twice that I know of. First time they hung up and the second stated that something was wrong with my internet. Shut these guys down!

I got a call from this number today. it is a spam/scam
ask for personal details wanted to tell me that i would save heaps on electricity
I could hardly understand her. she wasn't happy that I told I was going to hang up on her!

As someone posted above - outrageous Indian accent and claimed they were with Telstra to sort out a problem with my internet connection. They wanted me to go in and edit my Windows Registry. No chance. Scary part is they knew my Optus number I had for 2 hours and that I had a new internet connection. even scarier, Optus assures me my data is 100% secure with them!

I blacklisted the number, but call logs show they keep calling.
I can laugh to know they heard "The number you have dialled is not connected. Please check the number, and try your call again." :-))

Received 2 calls from this number today; call hung up when we answered. Like them we also had a voip number. All this hanging up after answering will, in my opinion be mis-configuration of their settings.

Spam calls. Automated. once daily. Hangs up almost immediately. Possibly automated search for Fax/modem type connections.
Common OZ, google search shows this number has been spamming the WORLD since at least Oct 2015

This number has called repeated over the last few months. All hang ups, no message. Suspect scammer. Have blocked number through my telco provider here in NZ
